“Nun” stealing beers: Surveillance video catches “thief”
A person dressed as a nun was caught stealing beer from a convenience store on a surveillance video that has gone viral, CBS Philly reports.
In the video, the individual opens a sliding glass freezer to grab a beer. The “nun” looks around and then places the beer underneath the clothing.
Moments later, the same person is caught on tape stealing a bottle of water and another can of beer. The individual then walks out of the store.
It is unknown where the video was filmed and some have questioned its authenticity, but the surveillance footage has garnered over 180,000 views on YouTube over the course of three days.

If she is a nun regardless of the crime, she won’t be charged. There is a nun who is regularly escorted from one supermarket here in town and nothing is ever done about it. If it was the ordinary Joe Soap it would be a different story. I’ve asked the management to take down the sign that Thieves will be prosecuted which he declined to do. Two tiered society in all strata of life.
You’ve got to admit that this thief was creative!
And conservatives complain about the nuns who don’t wear habits.
A story such as this one has no place on a summary of Catholic news & features. The person or people in charge of this operation need to exhibit some leadership. Thanks.
