Five Catholic HS football players kicked off team for allegedly hiring prostitutes during road trip
DeMatha Catholic High School, a private, all-boys school in Hyattsville, Maryland, is a nationally known football powerhouse, this year ranked No. 7 in the nation. One feat the school is not real proud of, however — this past weekend, five of its players allegedly sneaked three prostitutes past 18 chaperones at a hotel during a road trip. Wow.
Well, it didn’t go completely undetected, obviously. All five players were kicked off the team, two of those have been expelled from school and the three others are likely to follow, pending hearings.
It happened during a road trip in Durham, North Carolina, where DeMatha had beaten Hillside High, 52-14, last Friday night. In the wee hours of Saturday morning, the players allegedly sneaked in three prostitutes, whom they found through the Internet. That happened at 5 a.m. Why so early?
