About the author

Fortunately winters don’t last forever. After hibernating over the past few months, we are pleased to announce that CathNewsUSA has been retooled and redesigned and that we are relaunching our site and our daily email service immediately.

Over the past three years, CathNewsUSA has distinguished itself by consistently gathering the best mix of news, features and opinions regarding the Catholic Church in the United States. Our readers constantly remarked that CathNewsUSA exposed them to people, news and aspects of the Catholic Church in the United States that they would never have discovered otherwise. This combination of compelling and eclectic content has attracted thousands of readers from all over the United States, not to mention a significant number of followers internationally. Fortunately we’ve now developed a platform—including our newly launched Facebook page and Twitter feed —that will enable us to meet our readers’ high expectations.

We’d like to thank our loyal readers who kept reminding us that CathNewsUSA offered a unique angle on Catholicism in America that they couldn’t get anywhere else. We’re happy to be back and we hope you spread the word through your own personal networks. Encourage your friends and families to stop by our redesigned site or, better yet, have them sign up for our email list so they can receive a daily overview of what’s happening in the US Church delivered directly into their email inbox…for FREE.

CathNewsUSA might be free to our readers, but it is not without cost to produce. We rely on revenues generated through advertising to sustain the work we do. In the coming weeks and months we will be adding new advertisers to the site who are interested in connecting with thousands of readers like you who are deeply rooted in their identities as both Catholics and Americans. We hope you will not only support our advertisers who help keep us afloat but that you’ll also feel free to alert any potential sponsors who you think might benefit from being exposed to our loyal readership (ads@cathnewsusa.com).

Thanks again for all of your patience and support. Here’s to the future…
